Rideau Lakes
Located in the county of Leeds and Grenville just northeast of Kingston, it’s the largest municipality in the county. Rideau Lakes is home to many village and hamlet communities including Delta, Elgin, Jones Falls, Lombardy, Morton, and Newboro. The area is renowned for its many lakes, historic trails, stone arch dam, and Rideau Canal. The Rideau Lakes has 500km of shoreline, excluding the Rideau waterway – which traverses the township from the upper granite cliffs near Chaffeys Lock to the Lower Rideau Lake.
